THE CHIPPO GUIDE

Understanding execution

Judge task progress from real tool states and results.

Model generation and tool execution are different

The model producing content does not mean SolidWorks has executed an action. Once a tool starts, use its results, errors and viewport state as evidence. Reasoning content is model output, not an execution log.

Expand tool parameters and complete results when needed. An intent summary describes what is planned, not proof of completion.

Cancellation and unknown outcomes

Cancellation attempts to stop generation or operations that have not started. It cannot guarantee interruption of a SolidWorks API already running on its main thread.

After a disconnect or timeout, a change may already have occurred. Read the actual state, inspect geometry, save status and references, then decide what to do. Do not blindly replay write operations.

Acceptance

Check the target document, configuration, dimensions, rebuild errors and required geometric results. Saving and rebuilding are software outcomes, not substitutes for strength, collision, process or regulatory validation.
