It covers the public Chippo website, including documentation and account pages.

It does not cover the SolidWorks plugin or other products.

HTTP cookies

Scripts in these pages do not set HTTP cookies. The account session is kept in session storage, not in a cookie.

This draft does not inventory cookies that hosting, a network, or a later service might set. Ops needs to confirm that before this page is treated as complete.

Storage that is not a cookie

The site may use local storage for your language choice and for a random browser device id used at sign-in.

It may use session storage for the sign-in check, the tab's account session, and a checkout attempt id. The Privacy page describes those items and why they exist.

After a choice, local storage also keeps it under the name chippo-cookie-consent, with a version. A different version shows the bar again.

Consent banner

A bar at the bottom of these pages offers Accept all, Reject non-essential, and Manage. Manage cookies in the footer, next to Cookie Policy, opens the same choices.

Until you choose, only essential storage is used. Essential storage is the language choice and this consent choice in this browser's local storage. It is not an HTTP cookie. Analytics stays off unless you allow it.

This version does not load an analytics service. Allowing analytics only saves that choice for a later script. Ops and Haze still need to review this description. It is not final legal advice.
